Mead Making

I've been making Mead (honey wine) since May 2010. The first batch (orange spice) didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. I used a recipe off the internet that used baker's yeast instead of winemaker's yeast. You can still taste the fowl taste of fermenting yeast in it. I hope it gets better over time, but more hope is in batch #2 - Peach mead. I also have a third batch that is a pyment - grapes mixed with the honey. The grapes are from our garden! Can't wait to try that one.
